About Us

Building & maintaining strong brands since 1999.

Alliant has been strengthening our clients’ brands for more than 16 years. And while we’ve enjoyed working with some of America’s more visible organizations, we have also built a reputation for helping emerging companies find their voice and confidently step out into the marketplace.

We are passionate about working closely with our clients – creating brand strategies, building brand identity programs, developing advertising campaigns, and crafting results-driven brand expressions that get our clients noticed. Whether it’s developing a new corporate brand or large-scale advertising initiative, our experience with national and international campaigns and brand structures give us a strong understanding of how brands are shaped, nurtured and successfully evolved.

Rebecca Reiser

Account Manager

Rebecca is the voice of Alliant. More often than not, interacting with Alliant means interacting with Rebecca—and that is a good thing! Rebecca brings to Alliant 6 years of program management and corporate marketing experience. Most days you’ll find her adjusting schedules, balancing deadlines and cost restraints in order to “get things done” and achieve the best results possible for our partners.

Rebecca received her B.S. in Business Marketing from Liberty University in 2007. She worked for several years at a large international manufacturing company before joining the Alliant team in 2011.

Rebecca loves all things food, fashion, and music and she enjoys many a weekend at local shows around town.

Chief Brand Strategist

Chris Anderson

Chief Brand Strategist

In August of 2008—after ten years of professional experience in print, web, interactive, and identity design—Chris enrolled at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary to receive his Master of Divinity degree. Yet that odd career move may be the best way to understand who Chris is and what he contributes to Alliant as a designer, developer, and art director.

Chris is an irrepressible storyteller. “Anything worth saying is worth saying in story.” In fact, everything we do or say or write has a story lurking somewhere behind it. We cannot escape telling stories; we can only escape telling them well. Graphic design, of course, is the art of visual storytelling. Chris went to seminary in order to understand the really big stories—the ones that shape and give meaning to life. After earning his degree degree in 2012, Chris joined the Alliant team and now oversees all our efforts to spin straw into gold.

Chris married Jen (Hill) Anderson in 2005, and they are raising two young dictators—Jack & William.

Rachael Swanson

Rachael Swanson

Accounting Director

Rachael Swanson

Accounting Director

Rachael Swanson balances more than just “the books” at Alliant Studios. Rachael is a CPA and received her degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Biola University. She worked in public accounting for several years before venturing into the private sector. At Alliant, Rachael leverages 13 years of experience to better serve both clients and management. She is dedicated to helping Alliant foster long-term relationships with our clients by providing timely and accurate financial information.

On the weekends, you will most likely find Rachael cheering her kids on at the baseball field, tending to her vegetable garden or out on the town with her husband.

Will Rees

Will Rees

Developer

Will Rees

Developer

Will has 10 years experience as a web developer. He worked the majority of his career in higher education, but also as a consultant working with small businesses in Northern Virginia and New Mexico. Will degreed in English in 2004 from George Mason University and did post graduate studies in Project Management. He joined Alliant in March of 2014.

Will has developed WordPress themes for general use as well as custom themes for clients requiring unique functionality and solutions. His daily technologies are HTML5, CSS3, PHP and jQuery. He also has a strong knowledge of SEO, cross browser compatibility, social media integration, Section 508 Compliancy, and making sure WordPress installs are secure, backed up, and always up to date.

Our Will Rees is not a DJ and doesn’t think you should listen to the other Will’s music; it’s not very good.

Dana Sow

Dana Sow

Designer

Dana Sow

Designer

Dana received her BFA in Visual Communication Design from Virginia Tech in 2013 before joining Alliant that same year. She quickly proved her value to our team and brings quality to whatever she touches. In fact, Dana is probably the best kept secret of Alliant Studios, and if you try to poach her we will hunt you down and force you to listen to the other Will Rees’ electronica. It’s not worth it.

Dana needlefelts, presses flowers, & illustrates cards in her spare time while her sheltie Corbu warms her feet.
